Sai Trust to take up potable water works

ELURU: Satya Sai Trust-funded works to provide
potable water in the upland villages of West Godavari district would
be taken up from January 15, 2005, said district collector Sanjay
Jaju.
Reviewing the Satya Sai potable water project works at the
collectorate here on Friday, he said the Trust had chalked out an
action plan to implement the potable water project in the district
and had allocated Rs 30 crore for the purpose.
He said the project would be implemented in Buttayigudem, Polavaram,
Koyyalagudem, Jeelugumilli, Gopalapuram, Nallajarla and Devarapalli
mandals. He directed the Satya Sai Trust representative R Kondala
Rao to give priority to problem villages in Lingapalem,
Kamavarapukota and T Narasapuram mandals. Kondala Rao said the work
would be completed within nine months.
